My Health, My Life!

On the 30th of November 2024, MONAI in partnership with CFANC (Christ For All Nations Church), successfully launched and implemented a health program titled ‘My Health, My Life!’ designed to uplift and empower children, youth, women, and families in vulnerable communities.

The Program was positively received by members of the Mbondole community, located in the Temeke District of Dar es Salaam.

The program’s objective was to raise awareness about personal health and wellness, encourage disease prevention, promote early detection of health challenges and address psychological health.

Topics Covered include:

• Understanding Health: Definition and Importance

• Effective Stress Management Techniques

The program also included personalized One-on-One Counseling Sessions and Free Health Checkups.

The Free Basic Health Checkups session included:

• Blood Pressure measurement

• BMI

• Blood Sugar Monitoring

This program empowered community members with essential health knowledge and practical tools for leading healthier lives, while also fostering a culture of preventive care and early health intervention.
